Tropical Storm Dorian To Become Hurricane By Thursday

The latest forecast track on Tropical Storm Dorian shows the system as a Tropical Depression when it approaches the Bahamas over the upcoming weekend.

The storm at 5 a.m. on Monday had 60 mile per hour maximum sustained winds. It was 225 miles east Southeast of Barbados.

Dorian was moving west at 14 miles per hour and is forecast to become a hurricane by Thursday, but lose strength as it moves over Hispaniola.

It's too early to tell what effect, if any, Dorian could have on Florida.
