South Florida Immigrants Report Getting Fake Court Dates From ICE

Another hurdle for immigrants to cross as they await court dates. Hundreds of immigrants in South Florida say they're getting fake court dates on "notices to appear" from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. The document is real, but the dates are not-for example some people are being asked to show up at midnight when courts are closed. Attorney Tammy Fox-Isicoff advises her clients who have taken off work and traveled long distances to take selfies outside the court house so they don't get deported for the failure to appear. USCI claims it is unaware of any of these issues.
