The son of Hall of Fame golfer Greg Norman has released a statement about a teen who was hospitalized after a wake boarding accident at a water park owned by the Norman family.

The boy was flown to a trauma center Monday night but fire rescue officials have not said how he was injured at Shark Wake Park, which just opened last June in West Palm Beach.

Greg Norman Junior's statement says he is aware of the incident and they are attending to the needs of the family involved. Norman also says they are a family-owned company and their primary concern is the health and well-being of the individual.

Here's the full statement issued to CBS 12:

We are aware of the incident that occurred as a guest fell while wakeboarding and we are currently attending to the needs of the family involved. We are a family-owned company and our primary concern at this time is the health and well-being of the individual. We are investigating the incident and taking all necessary precautions and will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available.
