DACA under debate In The Supreme Court Today

The Trump Administration's bid to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals being heard before the Supreme Court today. DACA is an Obama-era policy allowing undocumented immigrants brought to the U-S as kids the opportunity to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and become eligible for a work permit. The Trump Administration argues it's illegal to give protected status to a group of people who are not here legally. Miami immigration attorney Tammy Fox-Isicoff says if the Court rules for the President, an estimated 700-thousand people would be at risk for deportation. The Trump Administration tried to phase DACA out in 2017, but the federal courts said "NO"
