Family Of Woman Shot Dead On I-95 In Miami Desperate For Clues

Tearful pleas from the family of a 22-year-old woman shot dead while driving on I-95 in Miami last Friday for the public's help in finding a suspect. Miami-Dade Police Detective Juan Segovia says Melissa Gonzalez was not the victim of road rage and did nothing to cause someone to shoot her while she was on her way to Mt. Sinai hospital to visit her sick grandfather. Melissa's boyfriend was in the passenger's seat when she was shot heading southbound on 95 near Northwest 79th street. He was not hurt. Police are looking for the driver of a dark sedan with dark rims seen in the area at the time. Crime Stoppers is offering a 3-thousand-dollar reward for information leading to an arrest.
