Roger Stone To Be Sentenced For Witness Tampering & Lying To Congress

It's sentencing day for Ft. Lauderdale's own Roger Stone, convicted in a 7-count indictment of witness tampering, lying to Congress and obstructing the House investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Stone has teased and threatened Judge Amy Berman Jackson along with President Trump tweeting the conviction should be thrown out. Former Assistant U-S Attorney David Weinstein in Miami says Judge Jackson will base her decision solely on the law. The case is wreaking havoc in the Justice Department. Attorney General William Barr nixed the prosecution's 7-to-9-year sentencing recommendation in favor of a lighter one, prompting the entire prosecution team to resign.
