Bloomberg tops new survey of Florida Democrats

Heard or seen a Michael Bloomberg ad recently? A new survey by Florida Southern College suggests the billionaire may be getting his money's worth in the Sunshine State. Bloomberg tops the poll with 23%. Joe Biden has 22% and the Democrat's frontrunner Bernie Sanders is in third place with 18%.

"Michael Bloomberg has been running a campaign in Florida now for the past several weeks- he's been on the airwaves," Dr. Zach Baumann- director of FSC's Center for Polling and Policy Research- says, "and I think that has resonated with a lot of voters."

Dr. Baumann says Sanders' supporters are more likely to want to shake things up.

"We asked how much the respondent wanted to disrupt the existing political or economic order. What we find among Bernie Sanders' supporters is they rate a little higher on that metric."

Baumann was surprised to find Bloomberg's supporters were more committed to voting for the billionaire while Sanders backers were a little more open to changing their minds before the primary which is three weeks from Tuesday.
