As Florida heads toward a new normal, Publix supermarkets will extend operating hours and put an end to morning 'senior hours.' According to Publix.com, beginning Saturday, stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
Pharmacies will go back to operating regular hours.
The Lakeland-based supermarket chain issuing a statement reading, "With our newly expanded hours, we will suspend reserved shopping hours. We do understand some customers prefer to shop when the stores are less crowded. We encourage you to shop during the first hour of the day, when we can better accommodate that need."
