The "Live Events Coalition" rallying in front of Senator Rubio's Office

At least 200 cars full of people who work in the live events industry are doing a drive-by rally in front of Senator Marco Rubio's Miami office this afternoon demanding more help from the government. Party planners, caterers, photographers, DJ's and other entertainers all coming together demanding Congress extend the unemployment benefits set to expire Friday, ease credit restrictions and pass a second wave of paycheck protection program loans. Bonnie Fimiano has been planning large-scale events in South Florida for almost 25 years and hasn't had any work since March. She says they need the help now as coronavirus cases continue spiking with no end in sight.
