Central Florida Theme Parks Adjust for Covid Christmas Season

Central Florida's theme parks will still have plenty of lights and decorations, but some performances, concerts, and fireworks shows will be missing because of coronavirus.

Walt Disney World canceled its popular Candlelight Processional at Epcot, replacing it with a smaller chorus. The icicle lights on Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom won't appear this year. Instead, a special holiday projection show will take place.

SeaWorld is trying new things, like an ice skating rink and performances at its new Sesame Street Land. The Grinch will be back at Universal Studios and they're adding a new parade featuring Macy's balloons.

All of the theme parks are operating at reduced capacity and masks and social distancing are still routine.
