A move to eliminate county school board member salaries in Florida.
Bill sponsor Rep Sam Garrison says the move is in line with other districts across the country and hopes it attracts more parental engagement and less people looking to advance a political career.
But Rep Anna Eskamani asks why public service on the school board is different from what members of the state House do.
