FEMA'S Administrator is at Florida International University's Wall of Wind this afternoon talking about making communities more resilient to hurricanes on Day #1 of the new season. Deanne Criswell says today's storms are stronger, more severe and lasting longer than ever thanks to climate change. The Biden Administration is launching an initiative to modernize building codes, improve climate resilience and reduce energy costs to ensure communities can endure storms better.
