66th Annual Candy Cane Parade Set For Saturday On Hollywood Beach

Thousands gathering along Hollywood's Broadwalk tomorrow night for the 66th annual Candy Cane Parade. City Spokeswoman Joann Hussey says parking will be tight, so plan accordingly. She suggests parking in a city garage near the Hollywood Circle then taking a free shuttle to the beach. The parade starts at 7 p.m. but the free shuttles will begin running at 5 p.m. This year's theme is "A Country Western" Christmas. Security will be extra tight, those participating in the marching bands and floatst will be handing out candy instead of throwing it to limit the trash left in the parade's wake.
