CLEARWATER -- A plastic surgeon accused of murder remains jailed after new evidence was presented to the court Monday.
Dr. Tomasz Kosowski, a Tarpon Springs homeowner whose primary clinic is in Miami, is accused in the death of Steven Cozzi, a lawyer who represented several people who are defendants in a lawsuit filed by Kosowski.
According to the newest information, a Toyota Tundra tied to Kosowski's home was caught on video at the law firm where Cozzi works, the day he disappeared Tuesday. The arrest affidavit asserts that a man identified as Kosowski entered the building wearing a backpack and gloves, and carrying a large box. A man was later seen struggling to carry a cart containing a red bag or blanket to the Tundra.
Some blood and a chemical smell were discovered in the bathroom at the Blanchard Law offices. Detectives state a large quantity of blood was cleaned from the bathroom floor.
