A Florida law banning minors from being prescribed puberty blockers and hormonal treatments is being enforced again after a federal appeals court's decision.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' ruling on Monday blocks a lower court order against the ban while the case is appealed.

The law also bans transgender surgery for minors and requires transgender adults to receive treatment only from a doctor.

Federal Judge Robert Hinkle had blocked the state law in June as unconstitutional.
