Miami Dolphins star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be meeting with experts for the first time today after suffering his third diagnosed concussion on the NFL field.
Coach Mike McDaniel says the focus remains on QB 1's health. "It's important that he gets healthy day by day, and in that the best thing I can do is not try to assess what this even means from a football standpoint."
There's no timetable for his return, but if he were a betting man, McDaniel guesses Tua's out at least next Sunday.
He also won't comment on whether Tua should consider retirement.
While they will bring in a third quarterback, McDaniel stresses they're confident in backup Skylar Thompson.
