Volusia County, FL - White Castle is expanding its presence in Florida with plans for a new restaurant in Daytona Beach, continuing the fast food chain’s growth across the state after its return to the Florida market in recent years.
Company officials confirmed the new White Castle location will be built at 1944 LPGA Boulevard in Daytona Beach.
The restaurant is expected to open during the summer of 2026 and will become the company’s first location in Volusia County.
The expansion marks White Castle’s fourth Florida restaurant.
The chain currently operates locations in Orlando, Clermont and Kissimmee.
Company leaders previously stated the success of the Orlando area flagship restaurant, which opened in 2021 near Walt Disney World, helped drive plans for additional Florida growth.
According to development plans, the Daytona Beach location will include indoor dining service along with a drive through lane.
Officials also said the project is expected to create jobs during both the construction phase and restaurant operations after opening.
White Castle, founded in 1921, is known nationally for its small square hamburgers commonly referred to as sliders.
Although the company operates hundreds of restaurants across the United States, it maintained a limited footprint in Florida for decades before returning to the state with its Orlando expansion.
The Daytona Beach location is expected to serve both local residents and tourists visiting the area.
Company representatives have not ruled out the possibility of additional Florida expansion projects in the future as demand for the brand continues growing in Central Florida markets.
Construction timelines and hiring details for the Daytona Beach restaurant are expected to be announced closer to the projected opening date.
