You know how you can say phrases and mistakenly switch words around to where the meaning is completely different from what your intent was? That's exactly what happened to me when doing Facebook Live earlier today.
Check it out at around :30, I say "for people that are not 'car guys' like me", when I meant to say "for people like me who are not 'car guys'." I go on to ask if the 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu has a "10 cylinder" engine, playing up the "I'm a dummy when it comes to cars" angle and I'm sure it doesn't make sense for those of you who don't know me personally and thought I was serious when I referred to myself as a "car guy".
Anyway, enjoy the video (at my expense) and be sure to show up to the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction at the South Florida Fairgrounds Thursday through Saturday.
Burt Reynolds will be there on Friday, auctioning off a recreation of the car he drove in the "Cannonball Run" movies.
I've reached out to Burt's assistant and hope to get him on the phone so I can post that here as well and on-air on NewsRadio 1290 WJNO Friday morning.
