PBC Schools To Be Asked To Keep Anti-Overdose Drug On Campus

Talks are in the works to make the life-saving drug Narcan available at Palm Beach County's public schools.  Narcan is what first responders bring with them to overdose calls.

Due to the growing number of kids who are being prescribed pain medications, some advocates want local leaders to push for Narcan to be something that is kept on school campuses, something that is currently not in schools anywhere in Florida.

Palm Beach County Commissioner Hal Valeche plans to meet with law enforcement and members of the school board.
