"Dusty" The Sea Turtle Is Back Home In The Ocean

Another successful sea turtle release for our friends at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach.

Tuesday's release was for "Dusty", a turtle who is named after Washington Nationals Manager Dusty Baker.

"Dusty" was found floating offshore in St. Lucie County last winter.  He was suffering from starvation.

Baker paid a visit to his namesake while in town for the team's spring training, which now happens at the new Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.

"Dusty" the sea turtle was nursed back to health at Loggerhead's hospital and was released back into the ocean in front of a crowd on the beach in Juno.

If you're in a hurry to get to the part where "Dusty" walks himself into the water, fast forward to about :50 remaining in the video above.
