Two-Year Anniversary Of Austin & Perry Disappearance

Austin and Perry

Monday marks the two year anniversary of the disappearance of two Tequesta teens.  Austin Stephanos and Perry Cohen set sail from the Jupiter Inlet July 24, 2015 and wound up heading into a storm.  They were never seen again.

On Friday, Perry's mother filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Austin's family.  The two were on a boat owned by Carly Black, Austin Stephanos' mother.

Black and her family released a statement yesterday, through their attorney, claiming that the suit will only force everyone involved to relive the tragedy and won't bring the boys back.

Meanwhile, there will be a ceremony in honor of Austin and Perry tonight at a memorial sight that was dedicated to the boys.  Sky lanterns will be released.

A group formed in Jupiter named "Light the Coast for Austin and Perry" has organized the local event and others around the country...as far north as New York.
