Sweet Tarts Laced With Xanax Is A New Drug Concern For Police & Parents

A new concern for parents, teens are getting their hands on the popular candy "Sweet Tarts" and dipping them into a liquid form of Xanax or other dangerous drugs.

Police have no reports of the so-called "Xanie Tarts" showing in local schools, but this dangerous new mix of drugs and candy are being found in other areas of the country.

Authorities say a child may eat them without knowing that they can be deadly.

Several people, including a 17 year old, were arrested in Indiana recently after police got a tip that they were selling "Xanie Tarts."
