If you have a citrus tree in your back yard, the state could soon be providing you with a new tool to fight off citrus greening...parasitic wasps.
The Florida Department of Agriculture is reportedly set to send homeowners, who apply, small vials of the wasps, which hunt the invasive insect from Asia that spreads the citrus greening disease, which kills trees.
The state has been providing the wasps to commercial growers, but this is the first year homeowners will be eligible to receive them.
