Real-Life "Doogie Howser" Fraudster Comes Back To PBC To Face Charges

A man who, as a teenager, posed as a gynecologist and treated patients in West Palm Beach is now headed back here to face charges.

20-year old Malachi Love-Robinson has just completed a one-year sentence in Virginia, where he committed fraud while trying to buy a car.  He lied about an elderly relative who he said would be a co-signer.

Love-Robinson was out on bond for his local charges at the time of his arrest in Virginia.  He chose not to fight extradition back to Palm Beach County, where authorities claim he gave medical advice and performed an exam on an undercover officer at a medical office off 45th Street.

The man has pleaded not guilty, saying he practiced alternative medicine and had the proper papers to do so.

Love-Robinson is also accused of ripping off an elderly woman to the tune of $35,000.
