Fins Beat Falcons In Preseason, But Lose 2nd Round Draft Pick To Injury

The Miami Dolphins won their first preseason game Thursday night, but in the process they lost their second pick in the NFL Draft.

Rookie Linebacker Raekwon McMillan was injured while playing kickoff coverage at the start of the game. He left with a knee injury and never returned.

Newly signed quarterback Jay Cutler, formerly of the Chicago Bears, didn't play at Hard Rock Stadium and Matt Moore only spent a litte time on the field.

The team's other two active quarterbacks, Brandon Doughty and David Fales spent the most time behind center.  Miami's franchise quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered a knee injury in training camp.

The final score was Miami 23, Atlanta 20.
