Three of the top 10 Florida cities to raise a family are in Palm Beach County, according to SmartAsset.
The financial technology company looked at data on 65 cities across the state, using metrics including crime rate, child care costs, home values, graduation rate, median household income and median housing costs.
Wellington comes in at number 2, and SmartAsset says it was propelled by high scores in economic metrics. Wellington has the highest median household income on the list, at $81,000 per year. It's also has a 79.4 percent high school graduation rate.
Palm Beach Gardens is in a tie with Northport (near Naples) for third place because of its low poverty rate and the second-lowest unemployment rate in the study.
Boca Raton ranks 9th on this list, making the top 10 partially because it had the third highest increase in median home values from 2011 to 2015.
The number 1 city in Florida to raise a family, according to SmartAsset, is Winter Garden in Central Florida.
