Appreciation For Law Enforcement In Martin County

Someone left a note on a Martin County Sheriff's Deputy's patrol car, less than 24 hours after the murders of two Kissimmee Police Officers.

Sergeant Richard Parks, whose been in law enforcement for 30 years, tells our CBS 12 partners that he and his family walked outside a restaurant Saturday evening and found the handwritten note on the windshield.

It read, in part: "We love our leos (law enforcement officers) and are standing with you in prayer."

Sergeant Parks plans to keep the letter in his car as a reminder there are people who support him and other law enforcement officers.
