Harvey Relief: Determining Whether That Non-Profit Is Legit

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, there is no shortage of non-profits asking for your help to assist in the recovery efforts, but are you sure you are giving to a legitimate cause?

Florida's Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services says you can check out a charity at their website.  Not only can you see if the organization is legit, but you can also find out what percentage of the money they take in goes to services and fundraising efforts.
