Back To School After Irma

Palm Beach County students returned to school on Monday, after Hurricane Irma forced them to close for a week.

The school district says a number of schools experienced some exterior damage, along with the loss of trees, but the schools are safe for kids.  The district says clean-up and repair will take several weeks.

The superintendent has said that no holidays will be used to make up for the days that have been missed, so the Thanksgiving and Winter breaks will be kept intact.

Martin County schools also reopened to students Monday.
