FPL: 2,400 PBC Customers Without Power, Lake Worth: All Power Restored

FPL reports nearly all customers in Palm Beach County have their power restored, though 2,400 Florida Power & Light customers remain without electricity as of 10 a.m. Monday.

Those still without electricity likely suffered from what the company calls unusual circumstances such as tornadoes, severe flooding or heavy tree and debris damage.

In Martin County, the number of FPL customers still without power tops 200.

Lake Worth Utilities says all of its customers now have power again, but crews are still performing checks of the lines and clean-up work.

Although the system isn't reporting any outages, anyone who returns and still has no power should call the utilities department at 561-586-1695.
