Puerto Rico Residents In Distress: Flying Them Here

People from Puerto Rico arrived on two rented jets at Palm Beach International Airport Tuesday.

The island and U.S. territory has no water or electric and few commercial flights to get out, so the non-profit Eagle Wings Foundation, flew at least 16 Puerto Rican residents to West Palm Beach, thanks to donations from the law firm of Searcy, Denney, Scarola, Barnhart and Shipley.

Their mission is to rescue people who needed medical treatment the most.

The foundation plans to charter another flight and bring back 30 more people tomorrow.
