A woman accused of dressing up like a clown and shooting to death the wife of a man she would later marry could face the death penalty.
That's the word from Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg regarding Sheila Keen Warren, who was indicted this week on a first degree murder charge for killing Marlene Warren back in 1990. He says a decision will be made once the suspect is brought back here from a Virginia jail.
The Sheriff's Office credits advances in technology to finding evidence in the 27-year old case. The victim answered the door of her home in the Aero Club community of Wellington to find a clown who handed her flowers and ballons before pulling out a gun and shooting her in the face.
Keen Warren's husband, Marlene's husband at the time of her death, is being questioned.
