Jacksonville Jaguars Apologize To Military For Kneeling During Anthem

Jacksonville Jaguars v Houston Texans

The Jacksonville Jaguars are apologizing to local military leaders for the team's actions during the playing of the National Anthem prior to their game last month in London.

Several Jaguar players took a knee while others stood arm in arm with team owner Shad Kahn.

Jaguars President Mark Lamping sent a letter to Bill Spann, the city's director of military affairs and veterans department, and local military representatives.  Lamping said the team was remiss in not fully comprehending the impact the demonstration occurring on foreign soil had on those who have served or currently serve in the U.S. military.
