No Charges After Child Left On School Bus In Boynton Beach

No charges have been filed after a five year old child was left on a school bus.

That boy has been reunited with his family, after being left alone on a bus Friday, when all of the other students had left during an after-school program.  Someone spotted the child walking inside the bus while it was parked at the Boynton Arts Center.

Police spoke with the bus driver, 66-year old Roland Ambroise and the program counselor, 24-year old Rashad Burns.  Both told officers they checked the bus for students, but didn't see the boy.  He had fallen asleep under a seat in a back row.

Ambroise said he didn't have an accurate list of all of teh students that were supposed to be on the bus.

Burns returned to the center and picked up the child.

Investigators call this an accident.
