A familiar name looks to get back in the Florida Legislature in the wake of a local Senator's resignation.
Just a few hours after Democrat Senator Jeff Clemens resigned amid a report that he was having an affair with a lobbyist, former State Representative Irv Slosberg told the Palm Beach Post that he plans to run in a special Democratic primary to replace Clemens in Senate District 31.
Slosberg lost to Clemens in his bid for that seat last year. His daughter, Emily now serves in Slosberg's old State House seat.
Governor Rick Scott has not yet announced when a special election will be held.
