The Florida Legislature will need overtime to pass a budget.
House Speaker Richard Corcoran told House members Tuesday night that they'll have to extend the session, which is scheduled to end on Friday. They could also hold a special session.
Corcoran says a "best-case scenario" would be wrapping up the session on Saturday, but that it could extend to Monday or Governor Rick Scott could call a special session that would begin next week.
No word on why legislators have not been able to come up with an agreement on the state's new budget.
