Rain Won't Stop The National Salute To America's Heroes In Miami Beach

OFFICIAL WEATHER STATEMENT – 2018 The National Salute to Americas Heroes presented by Hyundai takes places May 26-27, 2018 rain or shine.

The two day National Salute to America's Heroes, presented by Hyundai, is happening this Memorial Day weekend in Miami Beach.

The event will feature the most impressive military fighter jets, bombers and equipment from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.  You'll also be able to pay tribute to our national heroes in the Troops Into Transportation Salute Zone.

Several heroes will be on hand, including Air Force Technical Sergeant Frank Morales, who tells us that he first decided to serve our country when he was ten years old, living in Florida City in the days after Hurricane Andrew.

That was when he watched as members of the Armed Forces worked to chop trees and set up tents to help the community.

Those heroes inspired Sergeant Morales to become one too.

He has served tours in Kuwait, Qatar and Afghanistan and currently works as a recruiter down in Miami-Dade.

The Music Explosion presented by Hyundai will be on the Altec Lansing Stage between 11th and 14th Streets with live performances by Kent Jones, Max and Shaggy, wrapping up with a Fireworks Extravaganza presented by Infinity Real Estate.

And pay tribute to our national heroes in the Troops Into Transportation Salute Zone.

Admission is free
