For the 28th year in a row, the works of William Shakespeare will be performed in Palm Beach County.
The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival kicks off Thursday evening at Carlin Park in Jupiter, with the theater company doing its take on "Antony and Cleopatra" or "The Curse of Cleopatra."
We had the chance to sit down with producer Elizabeth Dashiell and director Trent Stephens, who say it's a really good time for the whole family.
'We have thousands of people who come out and they bring their coolers and their dogs and their kids and their blankets, beach chairs and picnic baskets. It's a super super fun event and right across the street from the beach so you can go and have a fun day at the beach and then walk over and watch Shakespeare."
Shows run nightly through Sunday and again next weekend, wrapping up on July 22nd.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m., Show at 8 p.m.
