You can spend the weekend checking out history for free.
Saturday is Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day, which means nearly 1,400 musuems across the country will give you free admission, but you have to download your tickets by 3 p.m. Friday.
Some of the locations in our area include the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium and Mounts Botanical Garden, both in West Palm Beach and the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
The tickets are good for two people and you can only choose one museum.
