MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) -- Police in Miami are looking for two men who carjacked a teacher in a school parking lot, and the crime is caught on camera.
A teacher at Biscayne Gardens Elementary School in Miami was getting into her car Tuesday evening when a man approached her.
The man was holding a gun and demanding her car keys. The teacher handed over her keys and ran back towards the school. The armed suspect, and another man, got into the vehicle and sped off, police said.
It wasn't exactly a clean getaway. Police said the pair crashed the car into a curb in the school parking lot. When the thieves realized the car was too damaged to drive, they jumped out and ran away. The men were captured on surveillance video.
Miami-Dade Police Department's Robbery Bureau is investigating the case and asking for help identifying and locating the two men.
