The South Florida Fair is now open and runs through Sunday, February 3rd at the fairgrounds on Southern Boulevard.
The theme this year is "Superheroes" and there are attractions in the Expo Center geared toward that theme including a mock-up of the "Bat Cave."
Outside, of course, the usual rides and fair food and this year something new...
"We now have a South Florida Fair app and it has a map of the fairgrounds. It has all of the food concessionaires, good tips on the fair...how to get here, where to park and that will help people plan their visits and also help them once they're on the grounds here viewing the fair."
Fair President and CEO Rick Vymlatil says you can download the app from the Apple App or Google Play store.
