2019 TurtleFest On Saturday Means Turtles, Music, Fun & Conservation Tips

2018 TurtleFest

Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host its 16th Annual TurtleFest on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Loggerhead Park (14200 U.S. Highway One, Juno Beach, FL 33408).

Over 10,000 guests will join together at this free-admission event which focuses on promoting conservation and endangered sea turtles.

Guests will enjoy music, art, shopping, educational presentations, games, and other activities.

Jack Lighton, President and CEO of Loggerhead Marinelife Center joined us to talk about the event and conservation in general. For instance, you can enjoy an ice cold water from an aluminum can, which is far more recyclable than plastic bottles.

This year, talented musicians Spred The Dub, Making Faces, Fireside Prophets, The Andrew Morris Band, and more, along with performances by local school groups will take the stage while guests enjoy up-close encounters with threatened and endangered sea turtles.

In between sets, guests can shop ‘til they drop at Vendor Row, enjoy various educational activities, art, activities for kids, visit LMC’s Outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital, and more.

Parking for TurtleFest 2019 is kindly provided by FPL, with shuttle buses running continuously all day.

Parking signs will direct guests to FPL’s Juno Beach headquarters on U.S. Highway 1 in Juno Beach.
