Jupiter Cops & Wrangler Remove 100 Year Old, 750 Pound Gator

Jupiter Cops Wrangle an Alligator

A wildlife wrangler and some Jupiter police officers were able to remove a nearly 800 pound alligator from the Jupiter Commerce Park on Thursday.

The police department had received a call about a nuisance gator in the area, which was about 12 feet long.

The reptile is estimated to be about 100 years old.

The cops who were called out by a business owner in the park determined that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission needed to be called out. The FWC sent a wrangler who got the help of the officers to corral the alligator.

The gator was taken to a breeding farm in Central Florida.
