Palm Beach County is home to one of the ten best safari parks in the country, based on votes from USA Today readers.
Lion Country Safari was one of 20 wildlife parks selected by experts in the zoo and travel field to go head to head in the "10Best" Reader's Choice contest.
It wound up ranked 9th best and is the only park in Florida to crack the Top 10, coming out ahead of both Busch Gardens Tampa and Disney's Animal Kingdom.
The #1 best wildlife park is Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Safari in Ashland, Nebraska.
