Storms moving through South Florida wreaked havoc on SunFest, causing entertainment delays throughout the weekend.
The Tears for Fears show was canceled outright Sunday night when SunFest organizers said one of the three stages at the event had been deemed unsafe due to the weather conditions.
It was thought for some time that country music star Keith Urban may not be able to get on stage at all, after he was told he couldn't fly into Palm Beach International. The airport was temporarily closed due to the storms.
But Urban took to social media to tell his fans that he had landed at Miami International Airport and was taking an Uber for the more than one hour ride.
Imagine the tip that guy probably made!
Urban got on stage over an hour late, but the show went on, and afterward the musician took to Instagram again to thank those who waited for him.
The event kept police busy, arresting at least two people for stealing cell phones.
They announced the arrest of 34-year old Giberto Marrero from Miami Saturday night. Marrero is charged with grand theft.
Another man, Jose Torres, is accused of stealing some phones on Friday night.
In all, police say 48 phones were reported lost or stolen, a much lower number than the 140 reported last year. Police made several arrests in connection to those.
