West Palm Beach Among 5 Most Affordable Downtowns In The U.S.

Five Florida cities are named among the most affordable downtowns to live in across the country.

West Palm Beach is among them, ranked 21st in the nation with a high median monthly rent price of just under $1,700.

GOBankingRates looked at the cost of living, including median home prices, average rent, utility costs and the cost of public transportation.

Melbourne is the highest ranked Florida city in the Top 30, at number six nationwide.

The most affordable downtown, according to this study, is Billings, Montana.
