If you're celebrating the New Year in Jupiter, town officials want you to be safe.
They've worked out a plan with ride-sharing service Uber to offer vouchers toward a ride to ensure nobody drinks and drives.
The $15 offer is valid for use only in the Jupiter area from 7 p.m. until 2 a.m. and the town says there are a limited number of vouchers available. It's part of an initiative to “enhance the safety of all residents and visitors by reviewing opportunities for rideshare programs to discourage impaired driving.”

The program, called "Ride Safe Jupiter," kicked off with a pilot program on July 4th weekend and will return for Thanksgiving 2020.
