Everything is back to normal at the Palm Beach County Courthouse after a white powder scare.
It happened just as the building was getting ready to close on Thursday. A female employee was scanning envelopes when white powder spilled out of one of them.
West Palm Beach Fire Rescue sent a hazmat team to the downtown courthouse and the woman was evaluated, as everyone on the third floor was forced to stay in place.
The powder was determined to be what officials called a "benign substance."
