Dead Fish Wash Ashore On Bathtub Reef Beach In Stuart

STUART, Fla. (CBS12) - Hundreds of dead fish have washed ashore at Bathtub Reef Beach in Stuart.  

According to Martin County Government crews are heading out to clean it up. 

A spokesperson for the county believes the fish have been dead for a while.

Martin County Gov. says the dead fish were caught in a tidal pool, and not killed by red tide. The beach is open.

 

Video shows the school of fish swimming in the tidal pool around 1 p.m. on Monday.
