The Miami Dolphins are saying goodbye to Ryan Tannehill.
The team traded their former first round draft pick to the Tennessee Titans on Friday.
The deal reportedly involves the Dolphins receiving a fourth-round pick in 2020 and a seventh-round pick in this year's draft. The Titans will receive a sixth-round pick this year in addition to the quarterback who is expected to make a guaranteed $7 million from Tennessee with a chance to earn as much as $12 million, depending on how much time he plays.
The trade leaves Miami with two relatively unknown quarterbacks on the roster, Jake Rudock and Luke Falk.
The Dolphins have been meeting with free agents with more playing time but haven't signed any to this point.
Team owner Stephen Ross has said that Miami would be rebuilding this upcoming season under a new head coach.
